GYXY with yarn kabel duct fiber optic cable, optical fibers are housed in a loose tube that is made of high-modulus plastic(PBT)and filled with special ointment. The tube is armored with a layer of polyester yarn or aramid yarn and two parallel steel wire, then a PE sheath is extruded.

Introduction to GYFXY Optical Cable Reinforced with Aramid Yarn
1. Model Definition
GYFXY refers to outdoor central loose tube all-dielectric filled optical cable with PE sheath.
GY: Outdoor telecommunication optical cable
F: Fully non-metallic strength member
X: Central loose tube structure
Y: PE outer sheath
Standard GYFXY only adopts two parallel FRP glass fiber rods for tensile resistance. GYFXY reinforced with aramid yarn adds multi-layer aramid yarn wrapped around the loose tube, forming a dual tensile reinforcement system of FRP + aramid yarn, also known as air-blown GYFXTY cable.
2. Layered Structure (From Inner to Outer)
Optical Unit 250μm single-mode fiber (G.652D as standard, fiber count: 2~24 cores) is housed in high-modulus PBT loose tube. The tube is filled with water-blocking jelly with excess fiber length reserved, to prevent water ingress, resist bending and reduce micro-bending loss.
Aramid Yarn Reinforcement Layer (Upgraded Core Component) High-modulus para-aramid yarn is helically wrapped outside the loose tube. Combined with two side FRP rods, it provides ultra-high tensile strength. Aramid yarn features lightweight, non-conductive, wide temperature resistance, chemical corrosion resistance and flame retardancy, free of electromagnetic induction.
Water-Blocking Buffer Layer Water-blocking tape is longitudinally wrapped outside aramid yarn to block longitudinal water vapor penetration.
Outer Sheath Black HDPE polyethylene sheath with excellent UV resistance for outdoor use. LSZH low-smoke zero-halogen flame-retardant sheath is optional for tunnels and indoor building wiring.
