Tips

Strict Control of Tension and Bending Radius

Traction Force: When laying optical cables, the pulling rope must be connected to the cable's strength members (e.g., central steel wire or aramid yarn). Never pull the cable directly by its outer sheath. The maximum pulling force should not exceed 80% of the cable's allowable tension.

Bending Radius: Avoid sharp 90-degree bends. During installation (dynamic bending), the bending radius must be at least 20 times the outer diameter of the cable. Once fixed in place (static bending), the radius should be at least 10 to 15 times the outer diameter.

Vertical Installation: For vertical runs, ensure proper support and fixation to bear the weight. Prevent internal fiber slippage by forming loops during installation.
