GYXTW fiber optic cable, optical fibers are housed in a loose tube that is made of high-modulus plastic(PBT) and filled with jelly. The tube is armored with a layer of corrugated steel tape,two parallel steel wires are placed at two sides of steel tape.Then a PE sheath is extruded.

**Differences in structural design and performance between central loose tube cables and stranded loose tube cables**
**Central Loose Tube Cable**
In a central loose tube cable, the optical fiber unit is placed directly at the geometric center of the cable. Outside the loose tube, a water-blocking layer, an armoring layer, and an outer sheath are arranged in sequence. Two parallel strength members are typically embedded within the sheath layer.
The core advantages of this structure are:
- **Minimized strain**: The strain at the cable's center is zero, and the optical fibers are positioned in the optimal location.
- **Compact outer diameter**: With no stranding units, the cable diameter is 15%–25% smaller than that of a stranded cable.
- **Cost-effectiveness**: Fewer manufacturing processes and lower material consumption.
**Stranded Loose Tube Cable**
A stranded loose tube cable consists of multiple loose tubes stranded around a central strength member at a defined lay length. Outside the cable core, a water-blocking layer, an armoring layer, and a sheath are applied. The central strength member is typically made of FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) or steel wire, providing tensile strength and crush resistance.

- **High fiber count scalability**: By increasing the number of stranded units, fiber counts of up to 1,728 cores or even higher can be achieved.
