A single polyethylene jacket with additives offers superior protection against UV radiation, fungus, abrasion, and other environmental factors.

Frozen soil area refers to seasonal freezing and perennial frozen soil zone in northern high-latitude regions, putting forward special requirements for buried optical cable construction.

**Construction Specifications for Underground Optical Cables in Permafrost Areas**

-Buried depth must exceed local maximum frozen depth by 30cm, preventing soil frost heave squeezing cable deformation.

-Priority shall be given to low-temperature resistant MDPE sheath optical cable, adapting -50℃ ultra-low temperature environment.

-Reserved loose fiber length shall be increased at pole joint and pipeline turning position, reserving shrinkage allowance for fiber low-temperature contraction.

-Backfill fine soil cushion outside cable, avoiding sharp stone extrusion. Frozen area construction is forbidden in deep freezing winter season, choosing autumn thawing period to finish laying to guarantee long-term line safety.
