**PBT Loose Tube Extrusion Production Technology**

**PBT loose tube extrusion**

PBT loose tube extrusion is the molding process for optical cable inner protection sleeves in cable manufacturing workshops. Modified engineering PBT plastic particles are dried to remove internal residual moisture to avoid tube cracking after extrusion.

**The working principle of PBT plastic particles**

Plastic particles are melted evenly via segmented temperature-controlled screw extruder, then extruded into hollow tubular billet through fixed-size mold. Meanwhile, standard sizing air pressure is injected inside the tube to stabilize inner diameter dimension. After water tank circulating cooling, finished colored loose tubes are shaped and winded on spools.

**The usage process of PBT plastic particles**

Factory parameters control tube wall thickness, inner aperture and hardness to match corresponding fiber quantity. Anti-hydrolysis additives are mixed into PBT raw materials to extend underground service life of buried loose tube cables.
