24 Core Fiber Cable
GYTS armored fiber optic cable which single mode fibers are housed in loose tubes that made of high-modulus plastic and tube with filling compound. The tubes (and fillers) are stranded around a central strength member and surrounded with corrugated steel tape to form a cable core. An extremely outer PE sheath is extruded outside the core.

Tips
Core Technologies of Hybrid Optical-Electrical Cables
Integrated Composite Structure Design Technology Three mainstream structures are adopted: central tube type, layer-stranded type and skeleton type. Precise control of fiber excess length is essential to avoid micro-bending loss caused by mechanical stress and temperature variation, ensuring stable optical transmission performance. The layout of optical units and power conductors is optimized to balance power delivery, mechanical flexibility and optical signal quality.
Electromagnetic Shielding and Anti-Interference Technology Metal shielding layers (aluminum-plastic composite tape, copper tape, metal braiding) are used to isolate electromagnetic interference and thermal radiation from power conductors. High-performance insulation materials (XLPE, EPR, LSZH) ensure electrical safety, while thermal management design reduces thermal damage to optical fibers caused by power loss heating.
Precision Optical Unit Fabrication Technology Loose tube cabling technology using bend-insensitive fibers such as G.657.A2, combined with water-blocking gel and tapes, suppresses bending loss and achieves full water blocking. Some hybrid cables integrate sensing fibers to support distributed monitoring functions.
Power Conductor & Insulation Material Technology High-purity copper/aluminum conductors are stranded to reduce power loss. Special insulation and jacket materials include flame-retardant, weather-resistant, anti-rodent and anti-corrosion options, as well as steel tape/steel wire armoring for harsh environments such as direct burial and submarine applications.
Cabling, Stranding and Mechanical Protection Technology Synchronous stranding processes control tension and pitch to reduce mechanical stress, with high-strength central strength members (steel, aramid yarn) for tensile resistance. Multi-layer sheathing and armoring improve compression resistance, torsion resistance and long-term structural stability.
Testing, Maintenance and Standardization Technology Comprehensive testing of electrical performance, optical loss, mechanical durability and flame retardancy; dedicated splicing and construction technologies; and industry standardization for different scenarios including 5G fronthaul, data centers, submarine and power grid applications.
Scenario-Specific Customization Technology Deep-water pressure-resistant structures for submarine hybrid cables; high-density low-smoke zero-halogen structures for AI data centers; high-temperature resistant and EMC-shielded structures for industrial and smart grid networks.
